 Abstract 

The state of realization of the rights and freedoms of man and citizen in the Russian Federation depends on the quality of the legal regulation of public relations, on the effectiveness of the bodies ensuring the observance and protection of the rights and freedoms of citizens, as well as on the presence of civil society in society. At the same time, the modern realities of public relations, char-acterized by a new world crisis caused by falling oil prices and the spread of coro-navirus infection COVID-19, can lead to a crisis in the world of work and em-ployment. So, many enterprises could not survive the period of restrictive measures and were forced to either go through the liquidation procedure or signif-icantly optimize their staff. The author of the article carries out a review of the legal regulation of the implementation of constitutional guarantees of labour rights and freedoms of citizens in the Russian Federation in modern conditions in order to identify conflicts and gaps in legislation in this area. Currently, there is a need to review the legal regulation of the implementation of constitutional guarantees of labour rights and freedoms of citizens in the Russian Federation.
